About
A local guide to Sayreville, made with care.
Inside Sayreville is an independent guide to the businesses, community, and changing waterfront of Sayreville, New Jersey. We built it because the people who live, work, and open businesses here deserve something better than a generic review site — a place that feels like it could only be about Sayreville.
Who it's for
For residents finding the closest mechanic, the late-night slice, or a new salon. For people considering a move to the area who want to understand the town beyond a listing price. And for business owners who want their place to be found by the neighbors who matter most.
The Riverton story
For most of the last century, the land along Sayreville's Raritan River waterfront was industrial — clay pits, a power plant, and acres that sat fallow for decades. Today, the Riverton development is transforming hundreds of those acres into a walkable district of shops, restaurants, homes, and public riverfront.
It's the biggest change the town has seen in a generation. We track the businesses moving in — many of them before they open their doors — so you can discover them first.
How the data stays current
Listings are gathered and refreshed automatically from public sources, then organized into the categories you see here. Hours, locations, and contact details update continuously. Local statistics are pulled from authoritative public datasets — the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the New Jersey Department of Education — and we cite the source and period for every figure on the data page.
About the founder

What's next
This is an early version of Inside Sayreville, focused on being a fast, genuinely useful directory. Over time we plan to let business owners claim and enrich their listings. For now, if something looks off, it's likely just waiting on its next data refresh.
